After Tom Hanks Refuses To ‘Screen Movie At WH,’ Trump Rocks Him With ‘Brutal Surprise’


Many Americans were disappointed by the latest statements from actor Tom Hanks.
He went against President Trump by refusing his invitation to screen his new movie “The Post” at the White House.
Hanks’ behavior was very rude.
He started by saying: “I don’t think I would [screen the movie at the White House.] Because I think that at some point — look, I didn’t think things were going to be this way last November. I would not have been able to imagine that we would be living in a country where neo-Nazis are doing torchlight parades in Charlottesville [Virginia] and jokes about Pocahontas are being made in front of the Navajo code talkers.”
“And individually we have to decide when we take to the ramparts. You don’t take to the ramparts necessarily right away, but you do have to start weighing things. You may think: ‘You know what? I think now is the time.’ This is the moment where, in some ways, our personal choices are going to have to reflect our opinions. We have to start voting, actually, before the election. So, I would probably vote not to go,” he added.
It is an honor to be invited to the White House and screen a movie. However, Hanks decided to take the liberal movement and bash Trump. The problem is that Trump didn’t even invite Hanks to screen his movie.
Yes, he did that in the past, by screening the movie “The Darkest Hour.” Hanks should understand that Trump screened the movie as an inspiration to pass the new tax reforms.
Hanks is seeing this as an opportunity to go against Trump and promote his movie. He says: “Right now, without a doubt, there are people in power trying to — if not quash or stop the right to publication, [then at least] denigrate it to the point [where] they are saying there is no truth to it whatsoever.”
He is probably against Trump’s war on fake news. Before he talks, he should look back and acknowledge all the false information that was published by the mainstream media.
Laura Ingraham understands that he is wrong. She defended Trump by saying: “One of America’s favorite actors is insulting the president, just to sell his movie.”
It is awful to see that some celebrities are actually supporting the terrible liberalism. Hopefully, they will learn their lesson and realize they are wrong.
