Everyone across almost all of the major sports hit back at President Trump after he started a fight with the NFL on Friday. Everyone, that is, except for NASCAR. Instead of following MLB, NFL, and NBA, the NASCAR owners all decided to stand together and say that kneeling is NEVER okay during the national anthem. For instance, team owner and legendary driver Richard Petty let the media know he didn’t think Trump’s solution of firing went far enough.       “Anybody that don’t stand up for that ought to be out of the country. Period. If they don’t appreciate where they’re at … what got them where they’re at? The United States.” Many of the other owners agreed that the kneelers should not be tolerated, although they didn’t seem to share Petty’s enthusiasm for total expulsion from the country. This week, NFL quarterback Peyton Manning was interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel. During the segment, the late night host attempted to bait the athlete into bashing President Donald Trump. Manning didn’t give him the satisfaction he was looking for. Kimmel interrogated Manning about his decision to play golf with Trump. “I heard Arnold Palmer say one time, ‘If the president of the United States ever asks you to play golf, you do it. It’s a no-brainer.’ And it was a fantastic experience,” Manning said, adding he had previously golfed with George W. Bush. “If President Obama or President Clinton asked me, I’d have been there in a heartbeat,” Manning continued. “It was just the experience of playing with the office that was pretty cool to me.” “Did he cheat? An Illinois town is in an uproar after a teacher allegedly stomped on a flag in front of his students. Two parents of children at Martinsville High School were on “Fox and Friends” this morning to discuss the ordeal. Gina Gibson said that the unnamed teacher was using the American flag as a pointer in the classroom, even though students objected to the flag being used in that manner. She said the students cautioned the teacher not to let Old Glory touch the floor, and that’s when he stomped on the flag, telling his students that it was his right to do so. Gibson said that some students – her son included – were sent to the office to be given detention for refusing to lift their heads off of their desks following the teacher’s actions. “It’s just a horrible thing to happen in small town USA,” Gibson said. “We live in a small community to avoid these type of issues.” Parent Daniel Truelove said that he supports the school’s administration, but he is protesting that som
